Premises Liability

Premises Liability

Premises liability is a type of ordinary-negligence action brought by someone who claims to have been injured by a condition of property, as opposed to an action brought by someone who claims to have been injured by a negligent activity on the property.  However, these types of cases are difficult to prove due to the fact that there are additional requirements that must be proven in addition to those under an ordinary-negligence action.

Not all injuries occurring on the premises of the defendant give rise to a premises- liability action.
