Lemon Law

Texas Lemon Law

The Texas Lemon Law is a consumer protection law that requires the manufacturer to repurchase or refund defective or problematic new vehicles from consumers.  If a consumer is successful in proving that his or her vehicle is a “lemon”, then the manufacturer is required to refund or replace the vehicle, less a charge for usage calculated by the mileage on the odometer.

While the Texas Lemon Law only covers vehicles that are still under the manufacturers original warranty, a vehicle that falls outside these parameters may still be covered under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act or other statues and common law theories.  Please call The Law Office of Robert D. Dabaghian at (210) 366-2400 to discuss what remedies are available to you.
